We all know the obvious, that muscle weighs more then fat.
Well fat looks gross compared to muscle and takes up 4 times more room then muscle dose. So why would we want that? Once again, people are obsessed with that number on the scale. We want those six pack abs and toned up behind, we start seeing a difference in how our clothes fit, but when we gain a pound according to the scale (because muscle weighs more then fat) that program is out the window.
Trying to change your diet when your husband or wife is not on board makes the process even more challenging but if you are on the same page then the process could be easier. Agreeing to work out, change a diet, ***ing junk food from the house, planning meals, and so on are all changes more easily done when everyone is committed to the plan. It is just natural that people are more likely to stick with something in a group than they are left to make their own decisions.
