The people that visit your blog share similar interests with you and can lead to generating useful connections with people who can help your creativity and site performance. Of course, this can go too far--if you are always apologizing for mistakes, people might think you have a basic stability problem, which erodes another kind of trust--the kind museums already have locked up.
