In Spain, the first timid attempts at nudes emerged, ***ed from any sensuality, critical, contained, such because the Descent of Christ into Limbo by Bartolomé Bermejo, the Martyrdom of Saint Catherine by Fernando Gallego, the determine of Saint Tecla within the High Altarpiece of the Tarragona Cathedral, by Pere Johan (1429), or The Slaughter of Saint Cucufate (1504-1507), by Ayne Bru.
